Ulster University

Ulster is a fantastic university and very accessible.

I moved to Coleraine so I could live on campus while attending university. I was nervous and anxious before moving as I knew no one and was unfamiliar with the area. However, those feelings soon went away as on my first night on campus, I made some of the closest friends I know I will have for life. The accommodation exceeded my expectations; the rooms are clean and have enough space for me to do my university work. I share a shower and kitchen with other girls, and I have no complaints. The showers are always warm, and the kitchen facilities are perfect. One complaint I have is that the heating was never on long enough for me in the winter as I found it very cold, but luckily I had my electric blanket. Ulster University Coleraine campus is beautiful, and the building itself is huge, which was intimidating. The staff within the university are lovely, and my lecturers are always willing to help if I am ever stuck. The university has a range of social events within the student union, and their 24-hour library is perfect for those who study best at night like myself. For those who are scared to move far from home and meet new people, I would tell them not to worry at all and would really recommend it!

Coming to uni, I was nervous until I explored around and saw that most of the accommodations are just down the road. The social life is amazing between the areas and events within the university, as well as the bars, restaurants, shopping centre, and grocery stores close to the uni. Everything is amazing.

Ever since i've stated Ulster University, it has been an absolute dream learning and working with teachers & staff members. They are all amazing and provide outstanding support.

This is my first year in the new Belfast campus and it is a massive change from Jordanstown. There are so many more facilities and opportunities provided for students now and it is a better learning environment for me. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience so far.

Environmental health is a great and practical course that accommodates students greatly in the fundamentals of every work place. This course is an eye opening experience along with one year of placement students are able to discover what is entailed in the many lines of work that arise with such a degree, for example, working with councils, on sites and factories. The course itself is full of projects that entail team work and observation. It is a great way to develop personal skills whilst learning the practical sides of environmental health, for example noise testing, evaluations, risk assessments and many more. The university is excellent on making the course as interesting and as interactive as possible giving the students a real work life feel. Modules are planned out in such a way that gives the students time to perfect and manage their tasks. I would also like to add that this course has a 100% employment rate after students finish their degree, I think this is a huge indicators that people in this line of wokr are very valued and sought after individuals who perform very important roles in our society !

Ulster Univeristy one of the best univerist in uk. This univeristy provied a good education. University location is also out standing. This univeristy course madoule and methode of education is also best. I like this university becouse their rank their reputation.

Whilst studying Alevels, I truly believed I wouldn't be able to accept an offers from universities, due to being too self conscious and overworked.
But I was so wrong... Ulster has given me so many opportunities I thought I would never be able to partake in. The communication from lecturers, the understanding of a new subject and the allowance to grow and succeed academically and personally has been amazing. Meeting new people, making life long friendships and developing an interest in a career has never been so amazing.
I can't believe I was going to turn away from pushing my boundaries, but Ulster University has allowed me to, and I'm so grateful!

When I finished school, I was relieved. I thought I needed a break but I didn't know what else to do so I got searching and seen a course on which I might be interested in. Before I knew it, I was walking through the doors of uni and I was scared but immediately I was addressed by a uni student to guide me and help me with my timetable. The first week went by and I knew I made the right decision I was so intrigued with this this new level of learning and the independence skill that came with it. Although it was a necessity to study but with walking past the library every day that itself motivated me to go in and just learn. There are several books helping with my course and just being in the library allowed me to just feel like it's a hobby rather than a form of learning. The independence and the ability to be yourself that ulster uni provided for me allowed me to feel successful and hopeful in what I was doing was the right choice.

I am in my second year of a 3 year undergraduate accounting degree. I travel to uni each week from home, although there is so much available in terms of accommodation in Belfast, with a lot of facilities to make you feel at home. The course itself is taught by lecturers who have a lot of knowledge and experience in the field which helps students understand better. There is a wide variation of resources available to further our understanding and ensure we reach our potential as students. There is also a wide range of employers/businesses come into the uni and make known their career opportunities via stalls and speeches etc.
