Applicants will be required to provide detailed module information confirming Learning Outcomes of previous study as part of the admissions process. <br/><br/>In the course of a year, you consider the complexities and ethical implications of business strategies and emerging issues confronting organisations in an era of increasing globalisation and ethical, social and environmental concern.<br/><br/>Study is strategic in nature to allow you to further develop critical thinking skills. The programme is closely linked to industry and you learn through a combination of theoretical and experiential learning, to include project and consultancy-based work with professionals from a variety of specialisms.<br/><br/>An integral part of your learning at this level is the Extended Independent Study. You act as a consultant and undertake research that responds to the challenges faced by a business or industry, alternatively you can define and resolve your own research problem. Both options provide the opportunity to demonstrate the ability for self-directed study.<br/><br/>Alternatively, you may complete the taught module, Researching Contemporary Management Issues, resulting in your own research paper. Optional modules include Project Management, Business Ethics, Strategic Brand Management and Managing Change.<br/><br/>You gain a broad range of business knowledge and skills which enable you to pursue a career in a diverse range of organisational sectors, from small and medium-sized enterprises to large multinational corporations.<br/>Our graduates have gone onto successful careers in management and leadership roles, strategic planning, project management, business development, product development, finance, human resources and marketing.
