Modern Languages with Foundation Year BA (Hons)

With this foundation year course, youll gain all the credentials you need to begin your career in modern languages. Its ideal for you if you dont yet meet the entry requirements of our undergraduate degree, if youre returning to study after a break away, or you need a bit of extra support to get uni-ready.<br/><br/>Youll spend a year studying with us on campus, through ICP. Youll get the knowledge and academic skills needed to take on a bachelors degree, learning how to analyse information, do research, and improve your academic writing.<br/><br/>The skills youll learn will help you work in teams as well as on your own in culturally diverse workplaces. As early as 2014, UK Trade and Investment reported that the UKs lack of language skills was leading to a 3.5% loss in national income through trade. This highlights the need UK companies have for bilingual and multilingual employees.<br/><br/><br/>Fast forward to a post-pandemic 2021, the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the world has dramatically increased and globalization of trade continues to grow (according to the DHL Global Connectedness Index).
