Biomedicine (Extended) BSc (Hons)

<strong>If you are curious about how the human body works - and what happens when it doesn’t, our extended Biomedicine course at the University of Greenwich is a great place to start.</strong><br/><br/>This four-year degree begins with a foundation year designed to build your confidence and skills in science, preparing you for success in the rest of the programme.<br/><br/>You’ll explore the causes of disease, how we diagnose illness, and the treatments that can make a difference. Taught by passionate experts in areas like cell biology, physiology, pharmacology, microbiology, and immunology, the course blends theory with hands-on experience. You’ll work on clinical case studies, take part in lab-based modules, and carry out your own research project.<br/><br/>You’ll also hear directly from NHS professionals and have the chance to gain work experience with a wide range of organisations—from global companies and government bodies to NHS hospitals and specialist research labs.<br/><br/>By the time you graduate, you’ll be ready for a career in healthcare, research, or the pharmaceutical industry.
