This allows financial institutions to take pre-emptive action such as hedging their exposure using derivatives contracts. Students on the Financial Risk Management degree will learn theories exploring market, credit and enterprise risk, whilst gaining expertise in the statistical software that is used to measure these risks. There is an integrated placement year, which allows students to gain valuable practical experience working in a professional environment.<br/><br/>The degree includes a range of modules which examine financial, credit and enterprise risk. There is also a strong emphasis on mathematical and computing skills so that students will be prepared for employment.
