Choreography MA

The innovative MA Choreography provides fantastic opportunities for you to explore choreography in a professional context, to support your personal career goals. If you are an aspiring or practising choreographer with innovative ideas and a desire to collaborate with like-minded practitioners, this course will allow you to further develop yourself artistically, academically, and professionally. <br/><br/>Through four modules across Autumn and Spring Semesters, you will apply a theoretical lens to your own and others’ professional practice. Drawing on a broad range of performing arts research, you will be encouraged to actively investigate areas such as the body as a vehicle for expression, improvisation and exploration through dance, creative direction, rehearsal management, dance for film, and entrepreneurship within the arts industry. <br/><br/>The MA programme will take a person-centred approach and include a balance of expert tuition, experiential workshops, and self-guided study. You will learn to analyse your key interests, beliefs, and values and work collaboratively with your peers to expand your knowledge and develop your creative and choreographic skills. <br/><br/>During your MA, we will help you turn your ideas into reality.
